As several big fire accidents happened in the recent months, fire safety requirements have been strengthened by retailers and brands when assessing their suppliers and factories.

More and more importers feel that it is almost impossible for their China suppliers to pass Wal-mart Es audit for the first time since Mar 2013.

Most of WAL-MART suppliers obtained the audit result of ORANGE-FIRE SAFETY and then requied to correct all the fire safety issues and meet unannounce follow-up audit within 1 month.

In addiiton,BSCI has revised its audit requirements and strengthened fire safety requirements.Once any fire safety issue is identified,BSCI audit result will become NON-COMPLIANCE.

And other retailers and brands also revised their supplier factory audit criteria and some of them treat any fire safety issue as Zero Tolorant.

So,we suggest that overseas importers should take fire safety conditions into consideration when selecting and approving China factories.

Poor fire safety facilities will lead to bigger fire risks.In addition, improving fire facility will add to more cost and some of factories will refuse to invest in such fire equipments.

Importers had better to choose better factories with better fire safety conditions, which will reduce China sourcing risks as well as factory audit trouble.
